The OncoVille Cancer Care Hospital is one of Dream Touch's most ambitious projects — a 26,000 sq.ft facility in Bangalore that challenged us to design a space that heals beyond medicine.
The Challenge
Dr. Anilkumar came to us with a clear vision: a cancer care hospital that doesn't feel like a hospital. Patients battling cancer spend significant time in treatment facilities, and the environment directly impacts their emotional wellbeing.
Our Approach
We designed every element with the patient experience in mind:
Reception & Waiting Areas: Warm wood-slat paneling, soft ambient lighting, and comfortable seating that feels more like a luxury hotel lobby than a medical facility.
Patient Rooms: Natural light, warm color palettes, views of greenery where possible, and fixtures designed for both functionality and comfort.
Clinical Corridors: Biophilic touches — indoor plants, natural materials, and warm lighting — transform what are typically sterile corridors into calming transition spaces.
The Result
26,000 square feet of carefully designed space where every sight line, every material choice, every lighting decision serves a purpose: reducing anxiety and promoting healing. The hospital has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from patients and staff alike.
This project represents Dream Touch's ability to bring design excellence to even the most demanding building typologies.
